• For most names:
  • Add an "s" to the end.

• • • Murphy becomes Murphys (do not change the "y" to "ies"). 

• For names ending in s, x, z, ch, or sh:
  • Add "es" to the end. 

• • • Bush becomes Bushes.

• For names ending in a silent "ch" sound (like monarch):
  • Add an "s" instead of "es".
